• Objective : Marking turbine blades according to their static moment.
• Principle : The marking machine is connected to an electric weighing scale which determines the static moment. The value is transmitted to the marking machine, which marks the appropriate static moment on the base of the relevant blade.
• 5 different types of parts to be marked : Turbine blades for motors : CFM56 - 5B, CF6 80 - C,CF6 80 - CX, CFM56 - 3X, CFM56 - 5X
• Compliance to the DT 0589 H specifications

A tubular aluminium structure forming a soundproof work station. The machine consists of a table which uses a different clamping system for each kind of blade allowing the feet of each blade to be placed correctly in the marking field of the machine.

Cycle : The operator places the blade in the clamping system and initiates the marking cycle. The machine's pneumatic shutter closes and the blade is then automatically clamped.These two stages initiate the marking of the static moment. This program controls both the marking process and updates a file of what has been marked.

Equipment involved : Marking Head marking equipment + single strike stylus SMC2 + 8I /O card + memory extension card with 6 character fonts OCR5 x DM1 to DM6.
