The new CN110 rapid indent marking system is fully integrated with the control electronics, display screen and micro-percussion mechanism all contained in one compact unit, with no need for a separate control unit. This makes the unit ideal for integrating within a production line or an automated assembly/test cell. Typical applications include marking serial numbers, part numbers, batch IDs, date codes or 2D machine-readable codes such as Data Matrix. Moreover, by using the device's RS232 serial link or integrated 6 Input/2 Output, the CN110 can communicate with other controllers, which allows real printing-on-demand. For example, test results can be permanently marked as a straightforward pass/fail identification or as a numeric value.
