Technifor, the internationally recognized manufacturer of marking machines, is launching the CN312Sr, the latest advance in scribing technology, for low-noise, flexible, permanent marking. The CN312Sr provides a new system of scribing technology, which completes the wide range of Technifor rapid, indent marking products. Scribing is not controlled by micro-percussion and therefore noise levels are dramatically reduced to levels of less than 72dB. The specialized combination of a carbide or diamond point powered by compressed air (of between 1 and 4 bars) obtains a highly precise marking of text up to 100mm in height and of varying depth, over a marking area of 100mm x 120mm. This system indelibly marks texts, logos, traceability variables or data codes directly on all materials from plastic to the hardest steel (65HRC). Both angular and radial markings are possible, on flat, machined or curved surfaces according to the shape of the part. Integration of the CN312Sr on a production line is very fast and simple using the 4 M6 bolts and the locating points provided. There is also a column available as an accessory, allowing the CN312Sr to be used independently of a production line. As part of the CN312 package, the UC112 control unit takes the place of a PC. This is a fully integrated unit, with an LCD screen and pre-installed user friendly marking software. programming is carried out by simply connecting a standard keyboard. External data can also be imported ( PLC, GPAO, bar code reader) to the marking files through an RS232 link. Integrated software features include a 6 Input/2 Output board, text style management, and the downloading of customized fonts and logos. Options available include T101W Windows® marking software for print preview, file management software and the possibility of downloading fonts and logos (HPGL).
