The M120 is a unique marking system: It is fully self-contained with a built-in mini-keyboard and LCD screen that offers the operator quick and easy and access to marking files. With its portable, waterproof battery pack, this innovative new system offers complete mobility and can be used on all types of materials from plastic to the hardest steel (65 HRC), on either curved or flat surfaces. All parts ranging from fixed assets and scaffolding to bulky parts such as tanks or trailers can be marked with essential variables for traceability, such as serial numbers, batch numbers, dates and times. Data can also be encoded in a 2D Data Matrix™ code for quality verification or after-sales service. The text can be marked in angular, radial, inverted and mirrored marking styles, amongst others, within a marking area of 60 x 40mm. The M120 also accepts a variety of data from bar code readers, or inventory control systems to any standard RS232 device.
